NEWS: GOOGLE RELEASED THE OPTION TO DISABLE CONVERSATION VIEW ON YOUR iOS AND ANDROID DEVICES
Some people do not want to add a ton of clutter that is not relevant to the work on their Gmail application. Most people want to look at the email, not any other messages or conversations view because they find it unusable.
Also, virtually all email clients automatically include the important conversation when you reply or forward to an email message, so the conversation view, according to some people, is redundant.
It mixes messages from different folders together and nobody wants to accidentally delete their important message in the sent folder because it shows up unexpectedly.
Though this conversation view option is here a long ago it was first available only in their website version.
Now Gmail is here with the newly released option of letting your turn off your Gmail conversation view on your mobile devices.
You can also choose whether replies to emails are grouped in conversations, or if each email shows up in your inbox individually. Click here to know about Gmail accounts.
This change applies to all users of Gmail even if they do not have G Suite account.
WHY YOU SHOULD TURN OFF YOUR CONVERSATION VIEW?
Some people want their Gmail area cleared now think it like that if you have piles and piles of unwanted messages coming up then how would you feel? Not pleasant RIGHT?
This is the same case with people should turn off their conversation view if they are not interested in the details or unwanted messages.
If you are someone who wants to have a look at everything even on little details then I would suggest you to not use this feature unless you want your Gmail application to look tidier and précised.
HOW TO TURN OFF THE CONVERSATION VIEW ON YOUR ANDROID DEVICE?
If you want to make the change manually then you need to open your Gmail application and then tap on the button "Menu" and go to the option "Settings".
Now you need to go to under the "General Settings" section and make sure the "Conversation View" option is disabled or unchecked.
Always remember that the settings of your devices are synced across devices so if you have disabled the "Conversation View" in your desktop version then it will be disabled on your mobile devices and vice versa.
HOW TO TURN OFF CONVERSATION VIEW ON YOUR iOS DEVICE?
Now people who use Apple's iPhone and iPad are able to turn off the conversation view inside their Gmail application. Let me show you how you will do it:
Firstly, you will need to go to the Gmail application. And then you will need to click on the option of Menu.
Now go to the "Settings" option.
Tap on your account address.
Lastly, you will need to locate the Conversation View toggle and disable it.
It's as simple as that. Though you will need to do this for each account you use in Gmail because it cannot be automatically turned off in all of your accounts when you turn it off on one of your accounts.
